Help is a lot closer than most people believe. Usually what's missing is just access, a way in, and people who already get it. The Porch Light is that place. Someone left the light on for you.

If you're here at 2am, you're not the first and you're not alone.
This is a place for the questions that don't have easy answers, the ones you've been sitting up with, the ones nobody hands you a map for. Some of them we can answer. The rest, someone here has already lived, and they'll tell you the real version, not the brochure version.

What it is
Two rooms under one porch light.
One space for the people who live this, and one beside it for the people who love and care for them. Each room is its own, and the door between them is open.
For the community itself
A room for my clients and people like them to talk, ask their questions, find people who share the experience, and make friends on their own terms. Especially for the person who falls between two worlds, capable enough to want friendship the ordinary way, carrying a label that makes the ordinary paths close up. Almost nobody builds for that person. This does.
For parents and caregivers
A room beside it for the families and the people doing the daily care. The hard-won tricks that never make it into a handbook, the way to read a hard day before it turns, the places that welcome your family and the ones that don't. So a parent three steps behind doesn't have to learn it all the hard way.
The 2am shelf
The answers, kept where you can find them.
The best thing a community like this builds is a library of what people actually figured out. Real questions, real answers, in the words of the people who lived them, sorted so the next family can find them at the hour they're actually searching.

How it works
A quiet room, kept safe on purpose.
The Porch Light isn't out on the open internet. It's private and invite-only, because the whole point is a place you can let your guard down. Every member is verified by a real person before they walk in, so the people beside you actually belong here.
It costs nothing to join. The founding circle is small on purpose, and the light is already on.
