Policies
The fine print, in plain language.
How refunds, cancellations, accessibility, and the rest actually work here. Written to be read, not to hide anything.

Digital programs, access, and refunds
The take-home programs and digital products are delivered as files you download and keep. Because they're yours the moment you download them, purchases are generally final.
That said, fairness comes first. If your download didn't work, you were charged twice, or you bought the wrong program by mistake, email me within 14 days and I'll fix it, swap it, or refund it. I'd rather you have the right thing than hold onto a sale that didn't help. Many programs also offer a pay-what-you-can option, and the Client Support Fund is there if cost is the barrier.
Session cancellations and no-shows
For one-on-one and group sessions:
- Please give 24 hours notice when you can, or at least let me know the morning of.
- Sickness is always a fair exception. No one should train sick, and no one should be penalized for staying home with a fever.
- A session missed with no notice may be charged at half the session price. Repeated no-shows may be charged in full. This is only about protecting time that was held for you, never a gotcha.
Life happens. If something comes up, just talk to me.
Accessibility commitment
This one matters more here than almost anywhere, because accessibility is the work. This site is built to be usable by as many people as possible: clear text with strong contrast, real keyboard focus, descriptive links, a skip-to-content link, support for reduced-motion settings, and a layout that works on phones and with screen readers.
Accessibility is never finished, and I want to know when something falls short. If any part of this site is hard to use with your device, your assistive technology, or your eyes, email adaptabilityco@outlook.com and tell me what got in your way. I'll fix it, and in the meantime I'll get you whatever you needed another way. Nobody should be locked out of a site built for this community.
A note on training and medical advice
The programs, sessions, and content here are for training, movement, and life-skills coaching. They aren't medical advice, physical therapy, or treatment, and they don't replace your physician or care team. For anyone with a serious medical condition, the work is done with medical clearance and in coordination with their doctor. If you ever feel pain, dizziness, or anything wrong during a movement, stop, and check with a medical professional.
Our promise about screens
Everything digital here, this site, the app, the Porch Light community, is built to serve you and then let you go. That's a design rule, not a slogan, and it has teeth: no streaks, no autoplay, no infinite scroll, no guilt notifications, no tricks engineered to keep you looking. Sessions in the app end on purpose, the way a good training session ends. The community shows you what's new and then says so. Success here is measured by what you did in your real life, the exercise, the routine, the conversation, never by how long you stayed on the screen.
This community includes people with deep fixations and caregivers running on empty at 2am. Both deserve technology that respects their attention instead of farming it. If anything digital here ever feels like it's pulling at you instead of helping you, tell me. That's a bug.
Our promise about faces and stories
Every face, name, and story you see here belongs to a real person who said yes to being here, saw the piece before you did, and can change their mind at any time, forever, no questions asked. When someone asks us to take something down, it comes down within a day. The people in our photos and videos are the subject of the sentence, shown doing what they do, never used to make a point about what anyone can't do.
If you're in something of ours and you want it gone, or you see something that doesn't honor the person in it, email adaptabilityco@outlook.com and it gets handled first.
